Farshad Khorrami (Fellow, IEEE) is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at New York University (NYU). He founded and directed the Control/Robotics Research Laboratory at NYU and serves as Co-Director of the Center for AI and Robotics (CAIR) at NYU Abu Dhabi. He has published over 370 peer-reviewed papers and holds 15 U.S. patents. His interests include adaptive/nonlinear control, robotics, autonomous vehicles, CPS cybersecurity, and machine learning.

Sun Ning is a Professor and PhD Supervisor at Nankai University and a Senior Member of IEEE. His research interests focus on underactuated robots, bionic and variable-structure robots, special industrial robots, as well as intelligent control methods and their applications. He has presided over key NSFC projects and published more than 50 SCI-indexed papers.
